During the time of my labor, Lauren was very patient and kind. She kept encouraging me to breathe and push through and made me as comfortable as possible. I mentioned a natural birth, and even with all the pain I was going through, she never tried to talk me out of it and never pressured me into taking medication. If it weren't for the compassion and patience I was shown by Lauren, I honestly don't know how bad things could have become. It could have turned bad easily due to I was exhausted from the labor and wanted to give up. However, Lauren kept me distracted and focused on the goal and task at hand, and we successfully delivered without the use of pain medications.

I greatly appreciate her and all she did for me and my baby. Also for having faith in my power to hang in & follow through with a medication-free delivery. I pray the most beautiful babies find their way to her and that every overstimulated, exhausted mom gets someone as great as her. I cannot express how special it is to have a nurse like her during one of the scariest yet magical things that a woman can experience.
