Every single patient that she cares for is, without a doubt, in some of the best hands they could be in. I will forever be grateful for Minda and the care that she has given me.
Minda Villiard may never know how much her kindness, compassion, empathy, humor, knowledge, and patience have meant to me throughout my time at this clinic. Minda embodies every single quality that makes a great nurse. She is so compassionate; she genuinely cares about every step of my journey. She has the skillset and knowledge that makes me and every patient she comes in contact with relax and feel comfortable amidst the uncertainty of treatments that we are all going through. Minda’s sense of humor is second to none. It is something that has gotten me through every procedure. She finds a way to make light of the situation at hand and make things feel less heavy. She makes me enjoy my time at the clinic even though everything is so uncertain. She is truly one of the best. She has taken care of me not only physically, but emotionally as well. Minda has given my husband and me a boost of confidence with every cycle we have had so far. She is one of the reasons that I find the strength to return to the clinic and proceed with further treatments. I arrived at the clinic for my second appointment, Minda wasn’t my rooming nurse, but sought me out to tell me that she and the doctor’s goal for the new year was. Again, whether Minda knows it or not, that instance right there will stick with me forever. The fact that she went out of her way when she didn’t have to, to tell me that she was rooting for me and wanting me to be successful meant so much to me. It is so hard to remain hopeful when all you get are negative results, but when you are in a supportive environment, surrounded by such great people, it makes keeping hope a little more possible.

After my most recent procedure, Minda informed me that she was going to stay back. That hit me like a ton of bricks. Hearing Minda say she was going to stay back and have someone else scrub in made me so sad. I wanted her there with me. I’m not even sure what I said in the moment, but Minda didn’t hesitate; she said she would change and meet me in the procedure room. I immediately felt bad and didn’t want the other nurse to feel bad, but I looked at my husband and said, “Minda is my girl”. Minda then went and changed and helped the doctor. Minda, without hesitation, dropped what she was doing to help and support me. I will never be able to thank her enough for being there for me. Minda is one of the best nurses and people in general that I have been fortunate enough to cross paths with. Every single patient that she cares for is, without a doubt, in some of the best hands they could be in. I will forever be grateful for Minda and the care that she has given me.
