Olivia Farcas is one of the best hospital nurses I have ever encountered. Therefore, I am nominating her for the prestigious DAISY Award. She has been an integral part of my husband’s gradual recovery from sepsis, pneumonia, and poor kidney functioning in the ICU. Without her caring and can-do attitude, we would be at a loss as to how to cope and fully understand the myriad of medical issues, treatments, and tests my husband has experienced at Beebe. Olivia is extremely intelligent, compassionate, and quick-witted with a delightful sense of humor and a deep love and dedication for her patients and their families. She has just the right “touch” for nursing and is a shining credit to the profession. For those of us suffering illness and those of us worried about our loved ones’ suffering, I can think of no other nurse who could be more helpful than Olivia.
