We had our first child this past week, and Phillip was our day shift tech. He was not only personable but professional in every way. We didn’t have an easy delivery and were sent to the MSU with some medical needs that required a lot of attention. From the start, Phillip was kind, knowledgeable, and most of all patient. He took the time to explain what was going on. He was more than wonderful with our baby girl when it came to checking her vitals and just interacting with her in general. He wasn’t in a big hurry to get in and get out just to do his check and move on. He took the time to have a conversation, play with our daughter, and just gave us this sense of calm that was desperately needed. He even asked to use our daughter to train a new tech on how to take vitals and things for a newborn. Not only did he ask her some great questions to really test her knowledge and practical application to ensure she truly understood the task at hand, but Phillip also challenged her with questions that made her think outside the box. Phillip went above and beyond to help us through one of the most difficult and stressful times of our lives, and we couldn’t thank him enough. Phillip deserves the highest praise/recognition available for his selfless service. Highly recommend BTZ or decoration.
