Kristine is one of the best nurses I have worked with. She is an amazing resource and is always helping. She will fill whatever role is needed at the time. One day, she spent so much time ensuring the safe and expedited transfer of a patient who came in emergently through the ER. The patient had emergency surgery and needed to be transferred ASAP to Henry Ford Detroit. Without question, Kristine assumed the task at hand and made as many calls as it took to get the patient a bed assignment. This task is not an easy one. There are many moving parts between different hospitals, physicians, the transfer center, consults, bed control, and more.

Kristine remained patient and made it happen. She made the patient and the patient’s spouse as comfortable as possible. She always faces a challenge head-on with a calm and collected demeanor. She is kind, professional, and never loses her cool. Kristine has a great attitude and will always make sure that everyone is okay and taken care of. I can't say enough good things about her. She is a pleasure to work with and a true asset to our department.
