At every visit she makes it a point to see me, even if I am there for an infusion or labs and don’t have an appointment with her she will still find me to say hello and see how I am doing.
There are people who do their jobs just enough that is required of them, and there are people who go above and beyond every chance they get. This woman is so unbelievably caring, simply because that is who she is. She doesn’t do it because it is her job, she does it because she actually does care. I have never had a nurse make me feel as special as she has at every visit. It is really hard to describe one particular instance because at every appointment she is amazing.
Finding out I had breast cancer was easily one of the most scary things I have ever gone through. And after you have the surgery to remove the cancer, there is still so much treatment you have to go through so the stress, anxiety, questions and emotions don’t just go away. Stacey could see where I am at and what I need at every appointment before I have to even ask, she just knows.
I go to the Oncologist every 4 weeks, and I have to have surgery this coming Thursday. I need to stop taking two of my medications seven days prior, and Stacey actually made me a special note reminding me to do this. It had a little character at the top and was just so cute and really made me smile. She knows I am nervous about having another surgery and doing something as simple as this put a huge smile on my face.
It is things like this that make her special. She in no way had to do this, but her doing something like this describes the type of person she is. At every visit she makes it a point to see me, even if I am there for an infusion or labs and don’t have an appointment with her she will still find me to say hello and see how I am doing. I could go on and on about this woman because there is just so many things amazing about her.
My very first appointment at this office was December 4, 2024, my husband came with me as well. After meeting with the doctor, Stacey came in and spent so much time explaining things, answering all of my questions, and simply being so kind and caring. My husband and I knew this was the office for us. I would like to mention too that this was the second Oncology office we had went to. I thank God every day that we found my amazing Oncologist and his amazing nurse. Stacey deserves to be recognized and celebrated as she has touched so many lives. I will forever be grateful.
