Her patience, her humor, and her genuine care turned a stressful night into one filled with gratitude.
It was a night none of us expected. My sister started feeling off—her speech was a little slow, her hand felt weak, and something just didn’t seem right. Worried, we rushed her to the ER, unsure of what was happening but hoping for the best. That’s where we met Nurse Alissa.
From the moment she walked into the room, everything felt a little less scary. She had a calm, reassuring presence that made us feel like we were in the best hands. She spoke to my sister with such kindness, asking gentle questions and making sure she was as comfortable as possible. Even though the ER was busy, Alissa never made us feel like we were just another case. She explained every test, every step, and made sure my sister knew what to expect.
When my sister started to feel anxious, Alissa was right there—with a smile, a warm blanket, and words that made all the difference: “You’re doing great. We’re going to figure this out together.” She didn’t just take care of the medical side of things—she took care of the emotional side too. Her patience, her humor, and her genuine care turned a stressful night into one filled with gratitude.
Thankfully, the tests ruled out anything serious, and my sister began to feel better. That night, Alissa wasn’t just a nurse—she was a bright spot in a difficult moment. Her kindness and warmth made all the difference, and we will always be grateful for her care.
