Kim was amazing during my son’s 2-night EEG. She went above and beyond to make the process easier for both me and my son. This included making sure his seizure action plan was documented appropriately and visible in the room to anyone caring for him. She also catered to my son wanting his bear’s vitals to be checked along with his. While these may seem like small steps, they were immensely helpful in making my 5-year-old more comfortable while undergoing his second overnight EEG in 2 months. As a mother, knowing his seizure action plan was acknowledged and emergency meds were readily available put me at ease. This is something that had not been done during our first stay or by other nurses, so the extra effort in having this in place was impressive. We very much appreciated Kim’s kindness and professionalism and hope to see her at our next visit!
