Sarah came into our lives early this year. It is hard to explain the instant connection we had with her. She listened to me but focused on my husband - his comments, questions, and always answered him, talked to him, and comforted him while also reassuring me. As she left each time, she always told me to call or text anytime if I had questions or concerns. I did and always received an answer, or she came quickly, as she did on the last day my husband was at home. She quickly did all she could, including giving him meds, giving more meds, calling her supervisor, following those directions, and when nothing helped, suggesting we move him to Peoria. I was reluctant but relented, and knew the moment we were met at the door it was the right decision. She was amazing, helping him with words, compassion, and guidance. When he passed 48 hours later, she was the first one I called. Sarah absolutely deserves an acknowledgement for her service. Thank you for sending her to us.
