Annette was my RN. I had a chest tube and felt pretty cruddy in general. I was brought up Friday night and then Saturday night, I received news that my mother had unexpectedly passed away. It was such a shock. She allowed me time as I processed and talked about it. I was by myself when I received the news. She said she didn’t know what to say except that she was going straight to pray for me. I was telling my husband about her the next day when she walked in, and she said that’s exactly what she did: go and pray. She has been such a wonderful nurse and deserves this award.
