I want to take the time to recognize an extraordinary nurse at ZSFG, and let him know how much he meant to me in my time of crisis. 

I came in as a trauma code, terrified and in pain. The ED team worked quickly and efficiently to stabilize me, stop the bleeding, and prepare me for emergency surgery. 

Rob was so compassionate to me during one of the scariest nights of my life. He was very competent and made sure to keep me in the loop with what was going on as I was being prepped for surgery. I always tend to find humor in times of crisis, and Rob matched my energy completely. 

My time in the ED with Rob will never be forgotten, and I'm so grateful that he was my nurse.
