I would like to nominate Karin for the DAISY Award in recognition of her extraordinary commitment to patient care. Last Sunday, after completing three consecutive shifts, she went out of her way to pick up a patient's CPAP machine from the rehab center and personally delivered it to the patient. When she left, she told me, "If it were my mother, I would want someone to do the same for her."

This isn’t the first time she has gone above and beyond; I've heard similar stories from other coworkers about her selfless acts. She does not seek praise for her actions; she genuinely cares for her patients. She embodies everything that we hope every nurse will be, serving as a strong advocate for those in her care.

Having worked for BayCare for many years and spending a significant amount of time on our unit, she consistently demonstrates her willingness to help anyone in need. We are incredibly fortunate to have her on our team.
