This is such an honor to be able to recognize one of the sweetest, most genuine souls I’ve ever encountered in my life. She was one of many fabulous nurses for me. What I appreciated most was that I didn't feel like a patient; I felt like a friend. She has such a calming and charismatic bedside manner with little effort. When someone opens up to share a bit of themselves with you/me, I cannot help but feel blessed and trusted, even as a stranger. She indulged my questions about her education, and we identified countless common interests. We even share the same tattoo on the same arm in the same place. She made me feel safe, and the worst part of my experience is leaving her here. Please know she is a uniquely qualified and overall amazing human being!
