Two years ago, I witnessed her incredible dedication firsthand when she cared for my mom during her battle with pancreatic cancer. Torie doesn’t get the chance to care for patients for days on end like nurses in some other departments. Despite that, she remembered the smallest details about my mom’s situation—even years later. That kind of care and connection is nothing short of amazing. What stood out to me most was how Torie went above and beyond for my mom. When my mom was hospitalized, Torie took the time to come check on her, even though she didn’t have to.
