My dad has been in the hospital for one month. he had a CABG, and it's been very difficult for us since he had so many things going on. He needed a few procedures for his fistula and a pacemaker procedure. Throughout all of this, my dad had become very weak and needed a lot of assistance. I tried my best to be here every day for multiple hours to help care for him. A few days ago, Rosemary was assigned to my dad and helped with his care. I can confidently say that 100% she is the best nurse he has had during this difficult stay. She CARES deeply for her patients. Every day she showed compassion, and any time my dad needed something or even if I had a question or a request, she was there! She absolutely overdid herself in every aspect and changed our minds completely on the type of care this hospital provided. She would reposition my dad any time he was in pain or uncomfortable. My dad had trouble swallowing pills, and she went above and beyond to talk to the doctor to address this issue, and thankfully, it was resolved. She always kept us in the loop. My family and I looked forward to seeing her when we got there because of how kind she was. The few days she cared for my dad were the best days he had this whole month. He even said Rosemary is the best nurse he had and that she is the most dedicated to her job. Her skills and compassion are something that we admire.
