Chelsea is incredibly deserving of the DAISY Award for the kindness, compassion, and exceptional care she provided to my mom during her cancer treatments. She was always patient, reassuring, and took the time to answer our many questions, making the infusion process feel less overwhelming. Her warm conversations brought comfort on difficult days, and she always made sure my mom felt supported. When my mom struggled with hair loss, Chelsea thoughtfully provided head covers, offering kindness in a moment of uncertainty. As a disabled patient, my mom faced additional challenges, including times when chemotherapy left her body impacted, making movement difficult. Chelsea never hesitated to help lift her when needed, always ensuring she felt respected and never made to feel uncomfortable. While we won’t miss the infusions, we will truly miss Chelsea and the infusion team. Her dedication, compassion, and unwavering support made a challenging journey easier, and she is more than deserving of this recognition.
