He strikes again! Hassan comes to work each day with an above-and-beyond attitude; so, it's not surprising that when he pulled up on the campus today for his shift that he noticed someone outside immediately needing help. Multiple cars drove past a lady bleeding from the face by the parking garage, but Hassan immediately pulled over to check on the lady.

After talking with her, he found out this patient takes blood thinners and hit her head while walking. She states someone pulled over to help her up off the ground. The patient asked Hassan to help her get to the cancer center for her appointment, but due to the nature of the fall and being on blood thinners, he encouraged her to check in the ED to be evaluated.

Hassan walked her over to the ED and assisted her in checking in to receive care. This patient was taken to CT and found to have a brain bleed, and her care continued from that point on. If Hassan hadn’t taken the time to check on her, who knows where she would have ended up. Hassan always goes above and beyond for staff, department, patients, community, and even people on the street. Hassan is amazing.
