She has the ability to inspire and motivate the team. She is deeply committed to being right here with you. She stands by the brand promise.
She has all the qualities of a great leader. She communicates efficiently and listens actively. She has an open-door policy, and you can always go to her with any questions. She is able to give advice and problem solve. She connects and collaborates with the staff. She helps collect money for a staff member out on FMLA. She took the time to take the money and put it on a Visa card. She also made a gift basket of supplies for the employee. She took time out and visited my co-worker. She goes above and beyond the call of duty for staff, patients, and family members. She brings strong assets to her role as a nurse manager, and we are fortunate to have her. She has the ability to inspire and motivate the team. She is deeply committed to being right here with you. She stands by the brand promise. She leads by example. She jumps in and helps with the patients as far as taking to the bathroom, giving meds or discharges. I can't think of anything she doesn't do for our unit. She shares honest updates with the staff weekly through email. She is resilient and never gives up in the face of adversity. She has mentored team members, providing guidance and support to help them grow professionally. She helped two of our co-workers with phlebotomy classes, with the schedule so they could pursue their dreams. She supports staff and gives them an opportunity to grow. She is an outstanding leader who embodies the values of Cone.
I enthusiastically recommend her for the award. Londra has been with this organization her whole career. She started out as a new grad and now has developed into a strong nurse leader. She truly cares about all of our patients and the staff. She is an engaged leader who has a gift for patience. She may be quiet at times, but she is respected amongst her peers, the staff on 3 East, as well as the providers and her Leadership. She has most recently become the mentor to a colleague who is a new nurse manager. She is quick to answer questions, is a resource when needed, and is a great sounding board. She often will encourage herself and others to step away from the busy world and just take a walk or perhaps get some sun and fresh air. She balances the many needs of this role. Her focus is a "boots on the ground" type of style as we try to be efficient with our discharges and providing support to the nurses and NT's. She also works hard to keep all day-to-day duties completed. She produces a weekly newsletter/ update that is always helpful to the staff. She is supportive of the many celebrations the team may have. She does a good job with service recovery with challenging patients. She continues to do it with a smile. She continues to build her leadership strengths and works well as a team player be on the department, in our service line and on our campus.
Londra is the kind of director who goes above and beyond for her staff. If she sees that her staff is struggling in any way, she is always willing to step in and help out in any way she can. She always gives me a good laugh whenever I'm feeling down. She always gives words of encouragement.
