During our 10 day stay in the ICU, we met one of God’s angels! Danielle is one of the sweetest, most caring (while still being so knowledgeable). She always has such a positive outlook, which in turn created a loving, pleasant atmosphere for us as a family. Our 71-year-old mother would have loved to interact with her teasing and joking to help ease the tension and pain of the situation. Her attention to detail was amazing, nothing was ever forgotten. When faced with a question or concern that she did not know the answer to, she would make it her mission (while still doing a full case load) to find us answers! Her creativity in coming up with ingenious ways to keep Mom's head and neck supported and comfortable while Mom was being stubborn/difficult while being on the vent. Danielle is passionate about her career. She can never be “just a nurse” to us. She is like family! We are truly blessed to have crossed paths with our angel of mercy! We love you, Danielle. We wish we could keep you! A true blessing!
