May is an exemplary role model for her staff and possesses strong leadership skills.
Being charge of the neuro unit has its challenges and is not for everyone. May handles it with grace. She is quick to respond and is always decisive, usually thinking a few steps ahead. RNs and techs alike feel supported by her. In challenging situations, she is always the first to help. How she does it all so well is much to our amazement. She's the embodiment of leading by example, our Wonder Woman, and an invaluable member of our 950 team. How (after her 15 years) on 950 she doesn't already have a DAISY Award, I do not know. Thank you, May.

May is indeed Wonder Woman. I have had multiple, challenging situations with decompensating patients while May was either charge with patients or charge in two units, and she is always in the room just as much as I am. Also, she trained me for relief charge and just knowing what she keeps track of and how quickly she thinks of conditions/situation of all 30 patients and bed is truly amazing.

May goes beyond what is expected. She is the exact example as charge. She makes sure that all her staff are not drowning, very thorough, and always on top. A good asset to TMC, especially unit 950.

The neuro unit definitely has some difficult challenges, but May has definitely been a Wonder Woman for sure. She has always been there to help everyone! Even when she has a million other thinks going on if I've needed help on knowing how to do something, she was there to help.
Thanks, May!
