The DAISY Award honors nurses who excel in the care they provide to patients and their families. There are many reasons this nurse deserves this award. First, this nurse goes above and beyond to collaborate with individual patients and families while fostering communication. This nurse delivers competent and compassionate care by prioritizing patients’ needs to ensure that the care provided is high-quality and efficient. This nurse serves as an outstanding mentor to his fellow colleagues and peers. Whenever called upon, this nurse does not hesitate to give a helping hand.

One example of an above and beyond moment is this compliment that came from a patient: While making the day after soc call, the patient informed us, that SOC visit was very productive and that our nurse is excellent and knows what she is doing, she is very professional and explained in a very detailed way everything that the patient needed to know and that he had never had such a good experience, especially when the nurse explained to his uncle about the IV infusion step by step, finally he told me to make sure to inform the supervisors of the good work that this nurse did.

This nurse is an outstanding nurse who encompasses all that the DAISY Award stands for. Her achievements within this company go far beyond what words can describe. She leads by example. It is my honor to present this DAISY Award to Josette Andre.
