I'm visiting from out of the country to follow up with my specialty physician, and found myself in so much pain that the last place I wanted to be was back in the hospital. But that's exactly where I ended up. I checked into Memorial South ER and was greeted with a warm smile by the ER team. My nurse was excellent. She was warm and compassionate. I've had so many hospital stays that I tend to get a little anxious and stressed when I walk through the hospital doors. I was able to relax and get through the treatment process. The team effort was palpable and visible, comforting and interactive with me and my family at the bedside. I just knew I was in good hands. I was able to receive my treatment and be discharged home. I'm so thankful for the excellent care I received and the phenomenal care of the entire ER team at South.
