Our daughter was born lifeless, not breathing, and Laurie was so quick to pull out all the magic to get her breathing again. She did not skip a single beat. As this was all happening and my partner was on the operating table, I was crying in fear that we were going to lose our little girl, and as Laurie was fighting for my daughter’s life, she was also being so kind and calm with me. Reassuring me of the steps she’s taking and what’s happening as she’s doing it. Not just leaving me to wonder what is happening. And then, as I heard her say that she was going to the NICU with the baby, she made sure to tell me I was to follow her so I could be with the baby! These nurses have been nothing short of amazing to us. Thank you so much! You are all the true heroes! Without you, our daughter wouldn’t be here today!
