Although most nurses are very nice and attentive, I’ve never witnessed one as kind as Patty.
My mother-in-law was the patient. She barely speaks English; she speaks Arabic. Although Patty doesn’t speak Arabic, she spoke to my MIL with grace, helped her, and was the kindest nurse she had during her week's stay at the hospital. Patty went out of her way to make sure she was always comfortable, cared for, and listened to. She changed her bandage on her surgical site, and did not hurt my MIL at all.

She was the only one who offered to bring my MIL some zinc cream after being bedridden for days. I told her I can apply it to my MIL’s backside, but she insisted she will do it and it’s her job. Every nurse should be like Patty. Patty embodies what a nurse is, becoming a nurse because you have compassion and empathy towards helping people.

She was honestly the best nurse I’ve ever encountered. I take care of my own mother and my mother-in-law, and she has been to various hospitals in the Chicagoland area for different surgeries. Although most nurses are very nice and attentive, I’ve never witnessed one as kind as Patty. I’m so serious!
