I am nominating Debbie for the DAISY Nurse Leader Award in recognition of her outstanding leadership, kindness, and dedication. Although Debbie is not my direct manager, she has welcomed me as if I were one of her own team members. She consistently goes above and beyond to support not just her staff but anyone who walks through the doors of our Cath Lab. Debbie is a leader who truly cares. Debbie is respected by everyone who works with her because of her unwavering kindness, professionalism, and willingness to adapt to the challenges that life throws our way. Whether it's adjusting schedules to accommodate personal needs or offering a listening ear when things get tough, Debbie makes it clear that she values and supports her team. Debbie is always available to tackle any issue that arises, finding solutions with a calm and collected approach. Her leadership is a perfect balance of strength and compassion, making her an invaluable asset to our team. Debbie leads by example, fostering an environment of respect, teamwork, and excellence. For all these reasons and more, I strongly believe Debbie deserves the DAISY Nurse Leader Award as recognition of the incredible impact she has on those around her.
