She helped me realize that even though we struggle in life and may have been in the darkness for so long, people do care, especially right after experiencing the biggest loss I’ll ever have in life.
Olivia was very kind, courteous, and helpful. She made it very pleasant, as it could be under the condition. I looked forward to her coming in. I can’t say enough about Olivia.

As a former painter and returning to the unit on 4E, I felt it was necessary to recognize Olivia for her kind and caring demeanor. Having lost my mother and battling with my mental health for almost my entire adult life, she definitely demonstrated all 5 of your care values.
I wasn’t just another patient; she made me feel important. She helped me realize that even though we struggle in life and may have been in the darkness for so long, people do care, especially right after experiencing the biggest loss I’ll ever have in life. She showed that even though I was just a patient and she a nurse, I would truly be missed had I not been fortunate enough to seek out help this time. The world is dark enough, and the nurses at St. Rita’s are all excellent. Olivia consistently made it a point to take an interest and had genuine concern for my safety, happiness, and overall well-being. I have no hesitation in saying she is an angel on this earth, and all she truly is missing are her wings!

She went above and beyond to try to help me and make me feel better. She would listen to me, talk to me, and say things to make me laugh instead of cry. To me, she is an angel from heaven. She is a nurse who needs to be recognized for helping people feel better about themselves, and no longer want to hurt themselves. Just her talking to me has helped me mentally a lot. I feel she is and would be the best person for a nomination.
Thank you, Olivia!
