It's a daunting experience, preparing to bring a child into the world, but I am forever grateful to have had a nurse like Hannah by my side. She listened to me, advocated for me, and supported me through my whole birth experience. She continuously reminded me how strong I was, and had she not been there, I don't think I would have made it as far as I did. She was my calm when I was scared, and my constant cheerleader until the end. Because of her, I had the birth I wanted and pushed through 42 hours of labor. She never let me give up, and always made sure to remind me she was there. Nurses like her make the birth process one to be cherished and loved. As a first-time mom, I can't thank her enough.
