Mrs. Franco has gone above and beyond when it comes to my learning. If it weren’t for Mrs. Franco’s teaching, I do not think I would have made it through my semester. She truly cares for her students' education and time. She provided great support emotionally, educationally, and more. She is a professor who truly goes above and beyond for all her students and past students. I can truly say Mrs. Franco is one of the best teachers San Antonio Galen has to offer. She is the prime example of an excellent teacher. Mrs. Franco has always been respectful and treated me like an individual and not just someone who was homeless needing a place to keep my dog while attending class and laboratory. She has been sensitive to my emotional states when enduring the hardships I encountered last quarter and assisted me through those hard times without knowing her impact on my psychological well-being. She single-handedly restored my faith in humanity and gave me my second wind to survive the advanced persistent threat I'm currently experiencing. Mrs. Franco has displayed professional nursing in all aspects of her teaching. She has taken her role seriously, and you can see the love she has for nursing, for teaching, and for her students. She provides comfort when we learning different competencies in lab and always offers a chance to take the time to try again. She gives her students the ability to think independently, but offers help when needed. She relates to her students by sharing experiences she had in nursing school and how she overcame obstacles, which is comforting to know that we are not alone.
