The single most important thing she did the night before his big surgery was pray with us, and pray over him specifically. We needed this in that moment of fear and uncertainty, and she didn't even hesitate to be there for us in that way. After his surgery, she made it a point to check in on him to see how he was doing, and even brought us a small gift after he was transferred to a regular room. The thoughtfulness, care, understanding, and pure passion that she has for her patients is abundantly clear, and her presence in those days made a lifetime-lasting impression on us both, as well as our entire family, who were able to meet her.
