While I was on vacation, I received communication of a request to help a patient. The first person I thought of was this nurse. cThis nurse went to the pharmacy, picked up the prescription, paid the copay, and personally delivered it to the patient's home. When thanked, the nurse replied that she was happy to take care of it. This was true customer service, displayed with compassionate care and selflessness.
