We have only wonderful things to say about Mackenzie. She was a tremendous help to us, and we will always be grateful for the kindness she showed to my mom and all of us during a sad and difficult time.
My mom was taken to the ICU. She remained there until she was moved to the sixth floor on Wednesday. During her time in the ICU, all of the nurses who interacted with her (and her family) were incredible. They were attentive, kind, caring, and supportive.

Mackenzie was with my mom for several days during her stay. My family felt she went above and beyond to help us understand what was happening with my mom. Any time there was a change or crisis, Mackenzie was right there and on top of the situation. She answered our questions, gave us support and comfort when we were upset, and gave such gentle and loving care to my mom.

One of the most difficult times came for our family when one of the largest snowstorms in recent memory came through, and we were not able to get to the hospital for more than a day. Knowing Mackenzie was there with my mom was a great source of comfort during an especially difficult time. She kept us updated by phone and helped to make a terrible time a little more bearable. Mackenzie made our bad days a little brighter with her kindness, and we felt comfortable that Mom was in her care when we couldn't be there.

When the time came to move my mom to Comfort Care on the sixth floor, we all felt unsure about the new situation we would be in. Mackenzie asked someone to cover for her for a short time so she could walk with us, get my mom situated, and help us all get accustomed to the new situation. We have only wonderful things to say about Mackenzie. She was a tremendous help to us, and we will always be grateful for the kindness she showed to my mom and all of us during a sad and difficult time.
