Sabrina daily shows compassion for the patients she cares for. I will provide two such instances. The first was a patient we had who was admitted with TB and was here for a solid month. Sabrina and this patient became very close, and the patient wouldn’t eat much due to his illness, which made him less hungry. Sabrina saw this and brought this patient breakfast tacos when he stated that was something he could eat.

A second instance was when we were caring for a 400lb man who was ventilated and needed higher care at the main campus. Sabrina, along with a doctor, fought even after being rejected numerous times, until the patient was successfully transported via LifeFlight to Galveston. Not only is Sabrina amazing with her patients, but she is also an awesome team player. The day we transported this critical patient to Galveston, it was a very busy day for me, but Sabrina was fighting hard right alongside me. As I was taking care of patient needs, she was making necessary calls to get transportation rolling. Sabrina is very dependable as a coworker, and her teamwork is very much appreciated.

The entire staff has been so awesome. I have not had one bad experience. I would like to give this lady the recognition she deserves. Sabrina had gone above and beyond to assist me and make me as comfortable as possible. She definitely knows her stuff and performs her duties with the utmost compassion and delicacy. She is definitely the description of an EXTRORDINARY NURSE.
