As a nurse in the Emergency Department, she exemplifies extraordinary compassion, clinical excellence, and dedication to patient care. In the fast-paced, often chaotic environment of the ED, she consistently went above and beyond to ensure that I was treated with kindness, dignity, and respect. As a healthcare provider myself, I know the burden this cold and flu season has put on the healthcare staff, but she approached every situation with unwavering empathy and professionalism. One particular instance that stands out is when she treated my child, who hates to leave my side, very kindly. She may never know how much that meant to me during the amount of pain I was in. Michele is not only a skilled clinician but also a beacon of hope and reassurance to patients and colleagues alike. Her dedication to excellence, teamwork, and compassionate care truly embodies what the DAISY Award represents.
