Recently, I had a total knee replacement at Grove City, and all the care I received was off the charts. However, there is one individual who had a heart of caring, compassion, and ethics. Her name was Betty, LPN. The short time she cared for me, she cared for my family as well. I was astonished by her compassion and care. See that day, she didn't just make a difference in my life, she made a life example for my daughter of what a nurse should be. My daughter, who was scheduled for the state nursing license board for the next day, saw firsthand OhioHealth's 5 values. Compassion, Excellence, inclusion, Integrity, and Stewardship through her. She encouraged her, she believed in her, and returning that encouragement had a positive impact not just that day but for years to come. Betty touched our lives in such a short amount of time thatit  will last a lifetime. Thank you for going above and beyond, thank you for standing by my husband and encouraging him, thank you for following through. My daughter witnessed what a true nurse should be and, as a fellow nurse, made my heart smile.
