My husband was diagnosed with stage four cancer. It was very aggressive. When we transferred from the Emergency Room to the 4th Floor, we were transitioned to palliative care. She helped my husband get settled in his room and put both of us at ease. When you are dealing with illness, she provides kindness and compassion. It meant everything. I also liked her calm and soothing nature. She was very attentive to my husband’s needs and kept a smile on his face while she was tending to business. Nurses like her are rare and should be acknowledged. She rocks. She is number one.
