I was in the hospital in Madras in the TCU program. My wife was there helping take care of me. My daughter brought in a picture of us on our wedding day and hung it on the wall, so everyone heard about our anniversary and wished us a happy anniversary. After Jess finished her 12-hour shift, where she had worked very hard taking care of us and trying to find activities for me to do so I wouldn’t be bored, I’m pretty sure she went to the floral shop because shortly after she left she was back with a beautiful bouquet and a handmade sign wishing us happy anniversary. It was signed by many staff members. So she had not only taken the time to get the bouquet, but she had also made a sign, and she had others to sign it. It was very generous and made our day feel so much more special. Thank you for your extraordinary efforts to make a couple of old folks feel special, Jess. You were our DAISY that day.
