The care that Nikki delivers is compassionate, kind, and servant-hearted. It is amazing to watch her care for her patients.
Nikki was just the best nurse. She was so kind and patient. She really advocated for my husband, as his condition was really crazy. She never made us feel like we were a bother, even though she was extremely busy. She took time to explain each medicine and why we were doing it. He was so nauseous that he even brought him some peppermint tea after we discussed how we thought it might help. We thoroughly enjoyed being with her, even though it was such a stressful situation.

Nikki came to the ICU after working on the IMCU. She made the transition with great ease and quickly fit right in with the team. She brought with her an eagerness to learn more complicated patient therapies, and maintains that desire for learning to this day. As a result, she now serves her unit as a preceptor!

In addition to delivering exceptional care, she is often complimented by her co-workers for her positive attitude, being flexible with patient assignments, and overall just being a good person to everyone she meets. I am so glad that Nikki has chosen the ICU to be her home unit!
