I would like to say that if it wasn't for this nurse, I don't know what I would do or how I would have made it through this situation. I had to have an above-the-knee amputation. Rose came on the next day, and she was an angel sent from God. She gave me the power and the courage when I didn't have it. She gave me the strength when I couldn't find it. She pushed me when I thought all else was gone. She showed me I still had a lot more power and strength in me than I ever thought I did. She helped me do things that I couldn't even do for someone else. Her heart is the most compassionate I've ever seen in my life. I believe nurses like Nurse Rose are the ones who really do the work because, without nurses like her, we would never be able to make it. They put in the hard work and go the extra mile, but it's the aftermath of getting through all of it. They feed us, they bring us back, they get our strength back for us, they clean us, bathe us, get us to the bathroom, wipe us down clean, and they do things that our own family wouldn't do for us. Nurse Rose is the best and far unmatched. When I cry, she makes me laugh. When I think all else has failed, she gives me light. It's nurses like her that make this world go round. We couldn't live without them, so I think we all need to show a little more appreciation for them. Thank you, Rose, you are truly an angel.
