My dad is a quiet and reserved man, but Michelle was able to connect with him during their daily walks around the CVICU. Her patience was unmatched, and she was great at anticipating my dad's aura and accommodating his mood. Most people have a very difficult time getting to know my dad, and although their walks were brief, he usually turned the last corner of his walk with a smile. She was a gentle but effective motivator. I believe she played a huge role in his success and positively contributed to our ability to discharge home on post-op day 6.
