Rosanna is an exceptional role model for nursing staff, HCAs, and student nurses. She has an in-depth medical knowledge and provides a very high quality of care to her patients, but she goes above and beyond for her patients. The way she takes time to speak to patients, build a relationship of trust, and mutual respect.

On one particular occasion, she was caring for a young oncology patient who required a lot of nursing care, was very unwell, and very anxious. Rosanna was able to put her mind at ease and really improve her experience by staying calm and reassuring her, as well as providing all the care that she needed. She really leads by example on the ward. Nothing is too much trouble for her. She puts her heart and soul into her work. She has been a sepsis link nurse for the last number of years and has put huge effort into the education of staff. She has really got on board with the new Trendcare system, becoming a champion to help with its introduction onto the ward.

She is very encouraging to students, really getting them involved and sharing her love of nursing. Every single student she has worked with always comes to me with positive feedback. She is just a joy to work with. She brightens up everyone's day. Has a friendly smile and chats with all patients and staff.
