Hands-On Leadership

Despite her leadership role, Bonnie is always present on the unit- helping lift patients, starting IVs, or offering a reassuring presence during a difficult situation. She never hesitates to jump in and support her team when they feel overwhelmed.

Unwavering Commitment

Bonnie frequently works long hours, staying late into the evening to make sure her staff has what they need. Whether it's resolving a last-minute issue or providing emotional support, Bonnie leads by example and never leaves her team behind.     Leader of the SNAP program:   As the head of the SNAP program, Bonnie ensures that patients and family members are comfortable throughout their entire stay at CBMC. I often see her walking with the patients and family members, guiding them through their surgical stay.

Bonnie holds her team to high standards while leading with empathy and respect. She fosters a culture where everyone feels heard and valued- no voice is too small, and no concern is brushed aside. Her open-door policy is not just a formality- it's truly open.

Bonnie can sense when a team member is having a hard day, even without them saying a word. She'll pull them aside, check in, and offer encouragement or a quiet moment to breathe. Her emotional awareness builds trust and strengthens the team.

Within the hospital, she is widely respected not only for her clinical expertise but for her strong advocacy on behalf of nurses. She represents nursing leadership with professionalism and heart, ensuring that the voices of her team are heard and valued in key decision-making space.
