Barb has been a dedicated RN who has served in various roles in her 47 years, almost 48 years, and the entirety of her nursing career for Good Samaritan Society. She is a key team member as she has a wealth of knowledge in long-term care, as she has served through the constant change that the industry has endured. She is motherly and nurturing to her teammates, as we all feel comfortable going to her with questions or when we need information. 

We can usually ask Barb, and she knows or knows how to find out. She helps out in various areas, even with front-line caregiving. She comes in early to assist residents with meals or stays late to help at supper. She can often be found in and out of resident rooms answering call lights, providing care and assistance while completing her assessments for her MDS work. She is a valuable team member, a compassionate and knowledgeable nurse. Her co-workers highly regard her skill and wisdom. We are blessed to work with her and learn from her every day.
