Javier consistently goes above and beyond for his patients, he is rarely seen sitting at the nurse's station. He is always spending time with his patients, ensuring their needs are met and providing the highest level of care. Javier is dedicated to growing in his nursing skills, constantly asking questions and seeking feedback. He takes constructive criticism in stride, using it to promote self-growth and strive for excellence.

Javier's attention to detail is remarkable. One morning, he quickly identified that a patient had dislocated her hip by noticing one leg was longer than the other. He immediately took action, calling the provider, and the patient had surgery shortly after. This is just one example of Javier's attentiveness and dedication to his patients.

During daily patient rounding, either our unit coordinator or I hear at least one patient praise Javier for his exceptional care and attention to detail. Javier is an outstanding LPN2, and I am excited to see the next level of care he will provide as an RN. I have no doubt that Javier will work hard to master the RN scope and become an outstanding RN.
