Recently, one of her patients was admitted for an extended stay in the ER while awaiting placement in a nursing facility. Throughout the patient's ongoing care, she was observed showing concern of physical and neurological signs that suggested a potentially serious, undiagnosed condition. Driven by our mission, vision, and values, she demonstrated a deep commitment to care, community, people, and quality. She took decisive action to advocate on the patient's behalf, engaging with the care team and multiple physicians to ensure that additional imaging and diagnostic testing were ordered. As a result, a significant condition was diagnosed, and the patient was promptly transferred for advanced care. Thank you for your unwavering commitment and advocacy. The patient's treatment plan was altered, ultimately leading to a life-changing, positive outcome.
