Maya’s ability to balance kindness and strength is remarkable. She has a gentle and empathetic demeanor, which creates a comforting environment.
Maya consistently demonstrates exceptional nursing care and compassion. Her attentiveness and dedication to her patients are truly admirable.
Maya’s ability to balance kindness and strength is remarkable. She has a gentle and empathetic demeanor, which creates a comforting environment. However, she is also able to be assertive and advocate for my son. In November 2024, I expressed concern to Maya about a subtle change I noticed in my son’s condition. Maya did not dismiss me, and as a result, he was diagnosed with low-pressure hydrocephalus. I am grateful for Maya’s commitment.

Maya shared her own personal health struggle to encourage my daughter. She connected with her the first 5 minutes. She truly has a servant heart and will help so many others with her sweet spirit. She is the top 5 of the best nurses we have ever had in 2.5 years of being in the hospital. We came in sick and left with a friend.

In February 2025, Maya, along with another coworker, went above and beyond to assist a mother whose biracial daughter had tangled hair. Maya helped to take care of the young lady’s physical needs, but also her emotional ones and her self-esteem.
