On the day my husband was to be released, he didn’t do so well, and it was decided to transfer him to the 4th floor. Upon arrival, Jim let the staff know the patient was a 1-on-1, but the 4th floor was unaware. Jim immediately said he would stay. The 4th floor staff changed his room to be closer to the nurse’s desk. Jim stayed and assisted on the 4th floor, coming back several times to help my husband with showering and other medical needs. Nurses like Jim gave my husband and me peace of mind! All of the ICU staff were above excellent!!! P.S. I’d like to include every single person at EIRMC who was above kind, considerate, professional, helpful, and amazing! All of them!
