We were fortunate to frequently have a nurse named Ava care for my husband, who never stopped smiling as she cared for him, constantly exhibiting patience and treating him with kindness and respect. She called him by his first name, making him feel that she had a personal connection, and she always took the time to explain medications and procedures. She was pleasant, attentive, and had a calming presence that made all the difference in a trying and scary hospital stay. She truly is an exceptional nurse whom we will never forget!
