While at my 36-week ultrasound appointment, I received the most devastating news any parent could ever get. They couldn’t find my baby’s heartbeat. Once those words left the doctor’s mouth, my whole world crumbled around me. Without any hesitation, Ramsey, a complete stranger to me just 5 minutes prior to me entering the room, held me in her arms and consoled me while I sobbed. She was there through my hospital stay after my C-section. She went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was as easy and pleasant as it could be. She explained the process of our situation without missing any details. She made us comfortable in one of the most uncomfortable/difficult situations we've ever had to go through. Ramsey is by far one of the most caring, thoughtful, and beautiful human beings I've ever crossed paths with. Canton-Potsdam Hospital is very fortunate to have her on its team. Words truly cannot express how grateful I am to have had her around during this time in my life.
