Elaina was extraordinary- compassionate, knowledgeable, and completely devoted to helping me. She was with me every step of the way- physically and emotionally. She helped me change positions with endless patience and creativity, doing lunges with me and suggesting fun "Mom Dance" and explaining why all her "tools" were important in a way that empowered rather than overwhelmed me.

When my pain was intense, she distracted me with corny Dad jokes that made me laugh even in the hardest moments. But when things took a serious turn and my blood pressure bottomed out, she responded immediately and never left my side. She remained calm and confident and kept me and my family from panic, and made me feel safe. She didn't just provide excellent care- she truly cared! I will never forget her sass, her laughter, and her support. She even stayed late to cheer at the "birthday party" and take his first vitals.
