Jessica Eaddy, BSN, RN, CPN, often receives DAISY nominations from patients. She has received seven nominations over the past year. Her commitment to excellence is displayed in her delivery of patient care and service to her employer. Each nomination story was a testament to Jessica's professionalism. The story that highlighted her commitment to patient care, safety, and the promotion of positive patient outcomes provided the review committee the opportunity to recognize her as the DAISY Honoree for Tidelands Health Waccamaw Community Hospital during the Nurses Week 2025. The patient and family had the opportunity to have Jessica as their nurse for three consecutive days. The family shared how compassionate and observant she was during their hospital stay. She was recognized for her advocacy in speaking with the physician when things were not clear and for including additional members of the care team in support of safe discharge planning.
